Women Heroes of the American Revolution Book Review
I can’t say anything negative about this book! It has stories of women that are not spoken of often. Some you may have heard of and some maybe not. I enjoyed each one! They are well written and easy to understand. I would recommend this book for anyone who enjoys history and intriguing women. I think those who especially like quick stories that are easy to read but also entertaining will love this book and not put it down till they are finished. I would highly recommend this for any young girl to read as it show just how much a woman can do even when faced with day to day obstacles. A definite 5 out of 5 star book from me!
I would like to thank the publisher for the copy of this book I enjoyed reading. I gave an honest review based on my opinion of what I read.

ROCB: Cupcake Cousins
This book was written for the upper elementary crowd. I think it can still be enjoyed by a first
grader but would say it is more for the 3rd or 4th grade
crowd. I gave this book 5/5 stars. I thought the story was entertaining and would
keep any child interested. I liked that
the characters learned a few lessons in the story but the lessons weren’t so in
your face that you couldn’t just enjoy the story for being a story. I liked the simple conversations and would
definitely recommend this book!

Review of Becoming Babe Ruth
Becoming Babe Ruth by Matt Tavares
What an excellent book about the famed Babe Ruth! I gave this book 5/5 stars. I would recommend this story for middle and
upper elementary age students. I thought
the writer did excellent with highlighting the important times in Babe Ruth’s
career. I thought the illustrations
where excellent and really helped keep the story entertaining. I loved this book and think all children,
especially those interested in baseball, should read this book!
Review of All Through My Town
All Through My Town by Jean Reidy
I loved this book and that is why I gave it a 5/5 star
rating! The illustrations are excellent
and the text is funny and easy to read.
I would recommend this book for the younger elementary crowd. The illustrations alone are worth getting
this book for. They are very colorful
and there is much to see on each page.
They rhyming text makes it fun to read and easy to listen to. I think all children will enjoy this book!
My Recent Childrens Book Reviews, Green Berets, Air Force & Army
I love reading Children's Non Fiction books. Here are three of my favorite from the past year. Many more to follow, enjoy!
Green Berets by Jennifer Besel (First Facts)
This book explains who the Green Beret’s are. It is simple to read and has definitions of
words that might be hard to understand.
The pictures are of real people which make it more realistic. I gave this book 5/5 stars. I think it does an excellent job of showing
children what these soldiers do and how they are trained to do it!
United States Air Force by Michael Green (First Facts)
This book is about the United States Air Force. The pictures are of real people and
equipment. The writing is easy to
understand with definitions of words that might not be heard often by
children. The layout of the book reminds
me of a scrapbooking page. Big
headlines, a small paragraph and a picture or two to show what is being talked
about. I gave this book 5/5 stars. I think it would be helpful for any child
showing interest in the Air Force and wanting to know a bit more about what
they do!
United States Army by Michael Green (First Facts)
This is a great book for any child interested in what the
Army does every day. There are pictures
of real Army personnel and the situations they encounter. I liked the layout of the book as it has
simple headlines, easy to read paragraphs and excellent photos. I gave this book 5/5 stars. I like the entire book but especially liked
the end where they list other books to read and internet sites to visit. I would recommend it for any child wanting
basic information on the Army.
